Textile Marks

All the marks, which are related to goods categorized as textile goods in the Act, are known as textile marks. Goods falling in class 22-27 of the IV schedule are known as textile goods. (Threads, ropes, bags, rugs, carpets Etc, are kinds of textile goods) therefore any mark relating to such goods will be termed as textile mark. e.g. 'VARDHMAN' is a textile trademark.

All provisions, which apply to trade marks, are applicable to textile marks as well.
